Where does this wine come from?
This locality of Montreuil-Bellay is characterized by alluvial formations of Thouet, tributary of the Loire. These are very stony soils characterized by their ability to heat up quickly, which gives these soils a great precocity.

How was it designed?
The six vine growers of Les Pouches work closely together all year round, to reveal the best potential of the eleven small parcels selected for this vintage. These Cabernets francs are harvested during October, when the grapes have reached an advanced maturity. Total destemming of the harvest. Fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats at 22 ° C. Light, daily windings, made in the first third of the alcoholic fermentation, as well as a gentle maceration to extract the full potential of the grapes. The wine continues its aging in our cellars in tufa, 25m underground, protected from light and temperature variations for 6 to 10 months before bottling.
