ROBERT ET MARCEL – Crémant de Loire Brut Nature

What are its characteristics?

Pale gold dress.
Complex and elegant combining toasty notes and brioche (toast), ripe yellow peach and annans. A hint of spices (licorice)

Delicate and persistent effervescence. Creamy attack.
The mouth presents a great richness, as well as a beautiful tension. Final both vinous and refreshing, with aromas of dried fruits and white flowers.

Where does this wine come from?

Made from Chenin Blanc (70%), Chardonnay (20%) and Cabernet Franc (10%), the vineyard is located on the mounds of tufa (chalk) of Saumurois.
Plots are selected in February for their ability to offer grapes of beautiful maturity and rich in aromas.
The harvest is done by hand around mid-September.

How was it designed?

Selection of the best plots and hand picking of the grapes, soft pressing and fermentation at a cool temperature (18 ° C) allowing a good conservation of the aromas. Second fermentation in bottle according to the Traditional Method.
The 42 months of aging on slats in our troglodyte cellars bring an incomparable bubble finesse. The natural richness of the grapes allowed us to elaborate this vintage in BRUT NATURE (without sugar intake in the liqueur of shipment).
