Superior Double Bedroom with ensuite bathroom, lounge area and private kitchenette
In a changing world, we decided it really make more sense to offer guests a small food preparation area in each room. The adoption of a kitchenette in our superior double bedroom presented an opportunity to re-decorate.
We sought to strengthen the room's character so it didn't just rely solely on the views, but is an experience in its own right. We have picked wall coverings and bedding that help to bring the outside in and have created "The Heron Room"
Grey Herons (Ardea cinerea) are a common sight, as well as Great Egret (Ardea alba) and their smaller cousins. The colours of the walls, the fabrics and other fittings are chosen from the whites, black and greys of these beautiful birds.
